Every box is built on high-GSM kraft liners with flute profiles selected for the right balance of cushioning and crush resistance.
Ply count refers to the number of paper and fluted layers in the board. A 3-ply box uses a single flute layer and suits lighter industrial items, while a 7-ply (triple wall) box stacks three flute layers between four liners, giving it far higher stacking strength and impact resistance for heavy machinery parts, castings, and export cargo.
Yes. When built to the correct ECT and burst strength ratings, corrugated boxes can meet international transit standards and are commonly used for export packaging of auto components, pump parts, and engineering goods, often alongside strapping or palletizing for added security.
Load capacity depends on flute type, ply count, and board grade. Standard double-wall boxes typically handle 25-50 kg, while triple-wall (7-ply) construction with high ECT ratings can support 100 kg or more per box, making them suitable for metal fittings, gears, and small machinery components.
For many mid-weight industrial and auto components, yes; corrugated boxes are lighter, more cost-effective, and easier to recycle than wooden crates. However, extremely heavy, oversized, or irregularly shaped machinery typically still requires wooden crates or ODC (over-dimension cargo) packing for adequate protection.
Yes. Wax-coated liners, water-resistant kraft paper, and BOPP or aluminium-foil lamination are commonly added to corrugated boxes destined for humid transit routes, sea freight, or long-term warehouse storage.
